What kind of computer screen?

LCD or CRT?

If LCD...Here is the Manufacturer's recommended cleaning method.

50% Isopropyl Alcohol
50% Water

Take a very very soft cloth and dampen with mixture. Lightly rub the screen. If any residue remains, use a Dry SOFT cloth to wipe off excess.

DO NOT USE WINDEX!!!!

You can use Windex on a CRT Monitor and paper towel ONLY!

There are special compounds on the fronts of monitors, they can break down if you use the wrong things on them, and if you get any fluid inside the monitor it will also cause huge problems.

The best way, with the best results is to use a special cleaning product that is available at most best buys and circut citys. They clean well, leave no streaks and lint and provents damage to lcd's. Check out the links below!

You can use some Monitor wipes that can be picked up at your local Best Buy, probably walmart. If it's a laptop, look for a product that cleans LCD screens. I personally use a spray and then a squegee type thing that I bought it was about 6 bucks and works very good.

Water and vinegar, equal parts. Use a soft, damp cloth, make sure none of the mix runs down into the bottom of the screen.
