I think the best policy is honesty. I would continue to tell her that you are really sorry that things couldn't be different, but you really Don't see her in the way that she See's you. Ya know, sometimes, someone just needs to feel like someone cares enough to say hi to them to keep them going daily. So maybe you shouldn't mist-rude her kindness for what it is. Maybe you out of thousands, were the one person who made her feel like a person, and she can't let go of that. Maybe she only wants to be friends, and doesn't have any. Obviously their is some compassion in your heart because you still talk to her, and maybe you don't want to be mean to her. but sometimes, you have to be stern. If she doesn't get the message, tell her that she needs to not smother your kindness. That you talk to her to be nice, not so she thinks that their is a chance for you all to hook up. That you are not going to be her friend if she can't find some way to draw the line. and take your kindness for what it is. kindness.
GOOD LUCK,
but remember, she has feelings, and is a person, and obviously, she likes you even if the feeling isn't mutual. Don't be mean be understanding. I'm sure that not everyone you've liked has liked you back. Just use a little tact.

If she is stalking you, then warn her you will report her to the police if she doesn't back off. That should work...
If you are over reacting then chill , she might be travelling in the same circle of friends....
You never know what is on some people's minds...don't jump to conclusions until you really think about it.... then act appropriately

Do you have so many friends that you cannot invite one more into your group. She can't be everywhere you are unless you are informing her through general talk.
Be nice but firm when you tell her that you "Don't" want her hanging around with you.
P.S. she likes you and think that you are her friend.

Either very persistent, or very stubborn,,,just go about your daily routine, and ignore her. See, but you told her you like her...that's like feeding a puppy, and hoping it will go away. Ask her why she is stalking you?
