Apart from drinking, partying and catching some rays, what else is there to do on Kos?

you have the newley built water park, also day trips to Turkey and Zia (Up in the mountains, lovely sunsets) Kardemena offers loads of shopping oppertunitys and the best beach on the island is in Tingaki :) Hope this all helps

Explore the island either by moped or jeep. It is a beautiful island with a lot of history so take a camera and take loads of pictures. Try the greek food and wines and learn a few simple greek phrases...eg Hello Goodbye etc. Eat out in a traditional greek restaurant or listen to their traditional music. But most of all if you do go, just enjoy yourself and forget about this cold damp country for a while.

See the birthplace of Hypocrites, visit town of Kardamena, day trip to Bodrum in Turkey. Also visit the pudding-shaped island which I was told featured in a James Bond movie - it's volcanic and very very hot to walk on.

depends on when you go. season is almost finished for this year, very quiet. would not go on the day trip to Bodrum in Turkey unless you like wasting your money on poor quality fakes. They look ok but not after there first wash.
