real nails are better for scratching

Nails can scratch at 1/8 of an inch just as well as 15 inch nails. the length doesn't matter, just as long as there's something there.

not really... all the "stuff" gets inside your nails, but if you are fine witht that go for it, if not, buy a back scratcher.. they really work!! : D
