There is a Lot to be said for both mediums!
I Personally have a Nokia N70 with Some tunes on it(And appropriate adapter so i can use high Quality headphones).

And on the other hand I have a 2-40GB iPods where My Entire CD and Vinyl Collection are!,and a Nano for Current Listening and New Artists.

I Find the Quality of iPod far Superior than that of Cell Phones,Plus if you are listening to Music You Do not want to be interrupted by an Incoming call!!

My Cell phone is used to Grabbing Blue tooth Music Files for quick reference Only!
But iPod does it for me!

Well I personally go for the iPod. i love love love mine. And they have a 1GB iPod nano... so it's not like you have to have 60GB. Storage on an iPod will be more. The iPods are really nice I've NEVER had trouble with mine. But, if you only want a little storage and you don't want to have to carry a phone and an MP3 player the phone sounds cool too.

Depends on what you really want and like. The phone will not be able to carry as many tunes as some of the ipods, but the ipods tend to be more sensative to damage. Also, lets be honest here, how many songs to you need to store on a portable device ??

10,000 like the 60gb ipod holds ????? Seems a bit overkill to me.

depends, if you want about 100 songs at a time, go with the phone, but if you want your whole collection with you, get an mp3 player
