This should make you happy since you have learned your new mommy is not your uncle by blood.
Let me compliment you on your articulate description of the situation and also your usage of punctuation
Bravo and as a Harvard Grad I would be proud to include you as one of our alumni

I can't imagine what business an 8 year old has knowing that kind of information. I hope your dad is discreet. Otherwise, it is not your business. There is nothing you should do but mind your own business and do not discuss your family's personal issues with anyone. It does not involve you if he is a good parent.
I do not believe an 8 year old wrote this question.

You are to consider yourself fortunate that they are not related. Had this been so, you would be forced to live with the fact that your father broke the law... by leaving your mother for his brother (her brother in-law). Talk about "keeping it in the family" huh?? ... that's a tough one to handle at ANY age.

If, in fact, you are only 8 than you are very good with communicating and your typing is very good too. You should eventually get over it, about your dad that is. That's none of your business. Don't worry about it. That's your dad's private life.

talk to your school counsellor if you think you need to talk about it.and also talk to your father.he probably didn't want to say anything because he was worried how you feel about it.
Are your mother and father still together?
