I use the Glade plug ins with an extra outlet. They work great. I also have scented candles throughout the house.

For a quick fix if you have none of those around, I put some cinnamon in a pot of water on the stove, bring it to a boil, then after it boils I let it simmer. I like to do that before company comes over. I love the smell of Cinnamon:)

you can buy scented pinecones at walmart, they make a house smell like cinnamon. You can spray it with febreeze for 7 days straight if you just want a clean fresh smell, they also sell air fresheners that are little round rings that go on lamps, they work really well too and come in all kinds of fragrances.

I once heard you can rub scented oils with a tissue directly onto a light bulb - then when u switch on a light it warms the oil and fragrances the room!!

I have had a lot of success with the type you plug in to your power point, they warm up and fragrance the whole room.
Other wise you can also use, Aromatherapy oils, they are far more concentrated, and work better than they type you have mentioned.

I buy fragrant oils and a little electric heating bowl. You can mix and match the oils and put them in the bowl and it heats up and smells very good.
I guess that's a diffuser of some sort.... yes. lol!
