And I dont know whether to stay in my flat in Newton Heath or move into Halls Of Residence, because I fear I might have too much money to pay on my bills. As I was told to apply for the maximum amount later on when I get the right details but I am worried that I might not be entitled to the maximum amount. What would be the best thing for me to do in my position?

I agree, move in to halls.
Worst case scenario, if you can't pay your rent a private landlord will have no questions about *trying* to evict you. The Uni will be more understanding and will probably help you apply for your loans.

Move into the Halls Of Residence until you get the loan sorted out. Also you will be able to get a lot more studying done - then next year you can move into your own flat again and have fun, knowing that your studies are under control.

Hi,
depends what other sources of income you have i.e. student loan etc. If thats your only students account and you pay your student loan into it they should increase your limit. I think they give the minimum to decrease the risk of students who have many accounts overdrawn at the same time.

If they don't increase it at all tell them that you'll shut down the account and switch at the end of the year.

Halls of residence should be more of a laugh though!

hon that's tough and life.

Most uni have a welfare rights dept in the students union place You maybe able to claim for hardship fund.

Plus you can only stay in halls 1 school year so i would stay where you are otherwise it could you more in the long run... higher rent bond to find etc etc and the Uni are not the best people to owe money to.... one of my friend was not allowed to proceed in to her third year because she owed money from the year she was in hall!!

think about where u shop... and look at what you buy maybe if you all buy the best brands look at the shops own they are just as good, and when your really skint there's the economy range... and it good and they even have beer!!!!

Also think about your bills can you make them cheaper... change gas and electric suppliers i save 140 year.

Amazon market place best way to get good new cheap books

i am in my third year at university of lancashire it its not easy but it is worth it.

GOOD LUCK xx
