it may seem that it is but it is not, the united states is only the law enforcement of the world not it's rule. because in order for the united states to rule the world it would have to be able to depend entirely or almost entirely on it's self for support. but the fact of the matter is that the united states depends on several countries for economic stability and in returning the favor the united states gives stability to those countries. But an interesting idea comes to mind when you think of the united states like that for if you were to shut down the economy in the united states it would or rather could be possible to throw the whole world into disarray.

The people that despise the USA.
America doesn't wish to rule the world, we only want peace from the fundies and tyrants.
America has liberated more people than any nation man has ever know. Have we made mistakes? Of course we have, but we give more aid and money, both privately and through the UN than any country on the globe.

The American government is a bit like a playground bully - they push the other nations around, and sometimes steal their lunch money, but essentially they aren't in control of anything, not even themselves.
It is important to make a distinction between a country, the people of that country, and the government of that country. I am certain that when you talk about America you are actually talking about the American government. The good people of America are not to be blamed - nor is the land itself.

I don't think US is ruling the world, each country rules for it self, US just goes to other countries to "help" and thinks it's all good, but it's all worst.
