Thankfully I am a CONSERVATIVE and not a republican, and unlike republicans, I would not surrender a single one of the these rights. The republicans have shamefully given up on all of them.

I would like to draw a large distinction here between the republicans in power, and their deluded supporters in the country, who through admirable loyalty are still blinded to the crimes and cowardice of their chosen leaders.

The republicans in the country are largely decent, brave, good people. they just cannot grasp the magnitute of what is being done in their name.

The republicans in the Whitehouse, however are craven lying paedophile protecting scum.

I am a Conservative, not a neocon-republican pussywuss. The republicans in the whitehouse are running scared of AL Queda and are pre-emptively giving up our freedoms and liberties just so Al Queda don't have to.

the current bunch of craven wimps in the Whitehouse are the lowest form of coward you can imagine.

well lets see, there is no free speech anymore. God forbid you speak your mind in this country. you get arrested for assembly. God has been thrown out of america, so religion doesn't matter anymore. there is no such thing as a fair trial. there are illegal search and sezures performed daily somewhere. seizures what about this emanant domain. walk down the street with a gun on your side and see how much of a hassel you get from the cops. what rights do we have to give up? they all have been done away with.

I do not have to give up any rights, and luckily, haven't, contrary to your false statements about the effects of the Commissions Act.

But we've had rights taken away. Campaign finance 'reform' has attacked our free speech rights, ACLU has attacked our freedom to worship rights, the left has attacked our 2nd amendment rights, our rights against illegal search & seizure have been attacked by the War on Drugs, etc.

But our rights have not been taken by either the Patriot Act or the Commissions Act.

None of them and we are not giving any of them up.

Reminder: It was Clinton, a Democrat that sent tanks and ninja DEA agents after a church in Waco, Texas. Over 80 people got toasted including Children. Maybe you question should have been directed to them and not Republicans.

Fair trial. There is no such thing anymore. The only people who get a "fair" trial are those tied in with the media or with the most money.
