I was just curioust to know what reasons would women sleep with a man who is married, engaged, or in a long term relationship. To make things clear the woman knows about the wife, fiance, or girlfriend, and has known of her existence ever since the relationship began.

That's exactly what happened to me sweetheart. And the answer is very simple they are sluts, relationship wreckers and could not care less. They thrive on that. And even worst this was not the first time she was doing this sort of thing she had done many times in the past and will do it many times in the future.

Most women who sleep with men who are already into a relationship usually have a troubled past. Their sense of morality is obscured by the gravity of their experiences e.g., pscyhological or sexual abuse, loneliness/abandoned by their loved ones. A cheating partner is also among some of the strongest reasons - that's why they wanna get even. .
Many also simply get tempted or attracted to the person. Like I know many women can't avoid getting attracted to someone like their father. While some just fall for them because they are looking for someone they couldnt find from their present partner.
Some for the thrill of it - they are the dangerous type.
I'd say all of them need help. :)

Because she has no self respect. She is probable hoping that he will one day leave wife/ girlfriend. Or may be he is telling that it is just a matter of time til he leaves wife. Or maybe she isn't looking for a commitment so feels safe with a guy that is already taken. No matter what the reason, someone will end up hurt out of the deal.

Shouldn't the question be why would a man sleep with another woman when he's in a relationship? The guy is probably lie to her left and right about how lousy the relationship is and how he wants to be with her.

she has no self respect and therefor does not respect the man she is sleeping with nor does she care. women like that are just looking for love in the wrong places. but then on the other what does that say about the man who is in a relationship and cheats.. its a two way street..

ummmmmmm...why would the man who's married, engaged, or in a long term relationship sleep with another woman? If it's "you're man" maybe you should ask yourself if you want to go through this anymore. He doesn't want to be faithful to you, so you have to ask yourself do you want to still deal with this in the future with possibly children involved?

I don't know, stupidity. It'll come around and bite her in the a$$ someday, always does. I've always been of the mind that we women have got to stick together, I'd never even consider such a thing. I love how they always seem to think the guy will leave their girlfriend/wife for them too and then never cheat on THEM.....right....use your brain ladies!
