Credit cards should be protected and secured by companies. If violations are made, it is illegal because it must only used with the consent of the cardholder.

Probably the cheapest way of figuring out which card is on file is going to be to buy an inexpensive item using the "credit card on file," and then watching your statements very carefully to see which one was billed.

You may possibly be able to force the issue with the mere threat of legal action -- but at the end of the day, unless you're pretty skilled in the law (the real law; not that Judge Judy or Judge Joe Brown crapola), you'll have to cave, and they'll have won.

They can have it on file, as long as nobody use it!! That's why is good to check you'r bank statement regularly.
