NOT BANK OF AMERICA!!! If you write a check to someone for $20, if that person wants to cash it, bank of america will charge them $5. They will also try to convice them to open an account like a really bad cell phone dealer at the mall! I have also been contacted by a collection agency-claiming the are trying to collect a debt from BofA-But I have never had anything with them! I told them to produce something with my signature-they said, they don't have to prove I have a debt-I have to prove I don't!!! WASHINGTON MUTUAL! I have alway's got great service-no hidden charges and they have even waived isf funds for me a few times, even though my husband really did overdraw the account! The online banking is quick, easy and fast. My husband can be standing at the store, and I can trasfer money into his account at home at the same time and it's done in time for him to check out-BAMB! Like 30 seconds!! WAMU Definately!

I love Washington Mutual. Free checking account, lots of ATMs, free gold debit MasterCard, and free online banking with personal bill pay online...what's not to love? Oh, and they also scan your checks in so you can view your canceled checks online instead of having them send all that paper to you. Fantastic! I've been a WaMu customer for the last 10 years...switched from BofA..and never regretted it.
