i dont think so, they just need to learn when, how and what is right and wrong about it. If they are going to be exposed at a very young age, they need to be taught at a young age. They are both in proportion

I think that they are and it seems so much more graphic than it was 'back in my day' but in saying that, when I look back on some stuff I watched, it has a lot more content that I did not understand at the time. I always think 'Who let me watch this?' I turned out alright though. lol! sort of! I don't approve of what seems to be a growing trend of people using bad language in the early evening programming on TV though. So unnecessary.

Yes if their parents don't monitor what they're doing... most of the time (in my experience) they don't monitor them. Sex and violence is all over the media and even at times gloryifying it!

sIt depend on how much freedom their parents give them, how much TV, they're allowed to watch. But in a way there is no way of stopping them being exposed at school.
It is all part of life, and there's no way of getting around it.
