Someone has to make you wait at the counter, give you attitude and screw up sending your packages. Besides, we don't need any more unemployed people.

Ok, here's a question. What organization is mandated by the Constitution to deliver mail to every house in America, 6 days a week, at an artificially low rate? The US Postal Service. UPS, FedEx, DHL etc are not federally regulated in the same way therefore getting rid of the USPS would submit us to unregulated prices and NO guarantee of delivery by companies other than when they want to deliver.

Post office are closing due to internet, cellphones and advances in communication making mail as outdated. Anyway, some post offices in major cities should be retained for those who want love letters.
