i love the dark tower series for his books... part of me would love to see them made into movies, most ofme knows there would a lot lost in translation. but if i were to pick from the movies that he currently has... ummm the silver bullet. it's the least scary and i am a true chicken! i watched the stand up until i knew it was going to get violent, they did a really good job on that one also (but i didn't like who they chose to play the man in black - i think he was randall flag in that book, or maybe walter... but pretty sure randall)!

Stephan King is the man! I have almost all of his books. his movies are a bit disappointing though. I think i would have to say that my favorite movie is Misery though. I also liked the tommyknockers and the one with the guy and his mom who are like cats....they were both really corny movies.

I am a true Stephen King fan since he started writing. Tough call on favorite movie, as I like them all, but if I have to choose one out of all, I would say Christine was my best choice. I liked how that car came to life and fixed itself when the bad kids destroyed it. Wouldn't it be great if we all had a car that if got damaged it could fix itself? I have lived in Maine all my life and you would think I would catch a glimpse of him somewhere but haven't had the pleasure yet. I did however see his home in Bangor, I love his house, it's awesome.

The Stand by way of an prolonged shot. between the excellent books ever (barring any religious outcry balloting for the Bible/Torah/Quran). it is likewise a great study. once you're feeling formidable, the 1st 4 books of the dark Tower sequence are additionally a number of my favorites.

Stephen King's books don't translate well into movies. They don't do the books justice.

Stand by me. It just gets to me every time. I haven't read the book, but the movie is just brilliant. Real characters as well. Very well done there.
