Do you think that this song is maybe a slight improvement for Robbie (compared to 'Rudebox' that is!)?
What do you think?

I like it...but I liked Rudebox too. Robbie's not the best singer in the world (I think he's aware of that), but he's a great entertainer. Lovelight is very 70's pop derived, and with the Scissor Sisters new song being a Bee Gees pastiche, I'm wondering if the 70's are back.

Definitely. Whatever made them release "Rudebox"? Cos it wasn't like the songs he usually does. This is MUCH better. Agree with xxsammytx... about the Jamiroquai thing.

lovelight is not Robbie's best song ever, certainly better than rudebox, but it is quite good, i like it.

the tragic way that he tried to reinvent himself like some hip 'dude'
was sooo bad.
none of his stuff is worth listening to anymore give up the ghost the 90's are over, a modern day cliff richard without talent.
