I was unemployed for 6 years, 8 years ago and loved it! Though I missed the money.

I've been unemployed for 8 years, since just before having my Son, I waited until he was at full time school before looking for work as I didn't want to leave him with anyone else (I had him and it was my job to stay home with him till he started school). However I haven't spent the last 8 years watching day time TV or twiddling my thumbs, I've done course after course, and also looked for work, I'm currently still unemployed but I'm studying, once I'm qualified I will be a self employed bookkeeper... I can't find a job so I'm making one for myself.
As for how do I feel about it? I hate it, I've always worked up until having my Son...

I was unemployed for three months and loved it but have to admit that I didnt have much respect for myself and couldnt wait to be earning my own money again to spend spend spend
This is certainly not a dig at people who are not working, enloy yourself if you can thats what i say you only have one life
would love to not work though, just waiting till i win the lottery or retire in 40 years!!!

I was unemployed for 10 years - & then they signed me off sick! Gives me more time on here, though. As for the money, you kinda get used to eating pizzas, etc. if you know what I mean.

iv been unemployed for about 3mnths and loving having lie ins in the morning dossing all day watching jeremy kyle etc. im supposed to be looking for a job right now but got distracted by all these questions.

for 3 years while i went back to school ( college), now working on the 4th year after graduation had to have surgery and still recovering. i hate it, i love working and i am really getting bored and feel like my brain is going to turn to mush. God bless
