Nah, I don't think it'll be boring...It'll be fun to watch the Cards try to over-match the Tigers' pitching. It'll be fun to see what protection the Cards will offer for Pujols. Just for the record, I'll be rooting for the Tigers. It'll also be fun to see which manager out of LaRussa or Leyland will be able to outmatch the other.

: )

There is only one way that this will be a boring World Series, and that is if it is over in four straight games for someone like it has been the last two years.

I disagree however. I think this year's World Series will go at least six games and will be one of the greatest. Two very entertaining teams with both great pitching and great hitting. Also two of the best managers in MLB history who are good friends running these teams. And the fans,Cardinals and Tigers fans know how to support their teams and at the same time provide great respect for the opposing teams and their fans.
I am loving this World Series already and it hasn't even begun yet.

Hey man, just because the teams aren't from the big markets on the East or West Coast doesn't mean it won't be good baseball. The Tigers are a great team, the very definition of a team, no cocky overpaid assholes, just players that play together for a goal. The Cardinals are also a good team, and they have more stars, but they are solid, good players that play unselfishly. Should be a great series, one of the best in recent years. Get a Grip, man, and enjoy the game regardless of who is playing. By the way, I am a Royals fan, suffering for about twenty years now through really crappy teams. Oh and I read your reply up above about looking at positives. You should practice what you preach.

I agree Fabio, the Tigers are gonna win it, probably in 5, very boring to watch games. I dont see any excitement at all, or at least, very little. There is not one single exciting player to watch on St. Louis, thats for sure. Yeah, I know all about Albert Pujols and how good he is, but he's boring. At least the Tigers have a guy like Granderson who's somewhat exciting and have some young pitchers, but this is gonna be a snooze fest. All I can say is, I love Endy Chavez.

Come on Fabio, does a World Series have to involve just your own personal favorites to be enjoyable? I thought you were a more astute fan than that?

Well, if the cards play like they did against the mets, it will be a 4 game series with the Tiger's winning.

Die hard Tiger fan.
