It all depends what sort of close you want to be with her, generally people talking here are only talking about SEX and how to get close that way.
Anyother way, just trust your instints and tell her you love her etc, all the romantic stuff, if she wants your closeness you will find out instantly.

If you have been with her for less than 6 months, you should be close enough to where you are good friends. Any longer than 6 months you guys should know where you are in a relationship(serious or unserious).
