I don't know how much you drink, but the March of Dimes recommends keeping your caffeine intake to 16 oz. of caffeinated coffee per day during pregnancy. So try to keep it around that, and you should be just fine! Good luck on getting pregnant!

Oh, and in regards to caffeine and miscarriage, the link is only made if you drink 5 or more cups per day which is excessive for anyone. Trust me, I was devastated when I found out I was pregnant thinking I couldn't have anymore coffee, but I went to the doctor, and they told me the 2 cup a day rule.

It couldn't hurt, try to not have more than one cup a day. And you could also start taking pre-natal vitamins before you start trying to conceive. Just get an over the counter kind and take one a day, or whatever the bottle recommends. Especially because they have folic acid and that's very important for fetal development. Plus all of the vitamins will be good for you as well. Good Luck.

YES! It depends too on how much you drink.

My fertility doctor told me that your egg only lives for 12 hours...you don't want anything speeding up your system!

Besides caffeine is unhealthy and you should be in your healthiest condition to get pregnant.

High levels of caffeine have been directly connected to miscarriage.

I would say so. Caffeine or any other stimulants are certainly not desirable in pregnancy.
