aboslutely they have a chance. as does a handful of teams since there's alot of football to be played yet. the auburn game will be decisive to say the least and in order for the bulldogs to win the title they surely can' t afford to lose again. also, florida will probably need to lose again.
the sec is the greatest conference in all the land - bar none - and because the teams are so good and loaded with talent, it hurts the conference overall when one of the top teams loses to another conference foe.
what other league can claim that? maybe the big ten, but still it aint the same top to bottom as the sec.
if terishinsky and company can rebound from last week and win out, anything is possible.
good luck against auburn, they'll need it!

The GA Dawgs have a great chance to wine the SEC. All they have to do is win the rest of their SEC games. Florida has already lost an SEC game and if GA beats FLA--then GA will have the advantage since they beat FLA head to head. And Tennessee needs to lose 2 SEC games which is very possible considering their schedule. GA is turning things around and some expect that they will upset FLA next week. Maybe a bit of a longshot but well within possibility.

Of course they have a chance that's the beauty of college football. However, the odds are stacked heavily against them especially when they are struggling at the quarterback position and they do not have the neccesary team speed on defense as they have had in prior years.
In my opinion there are two things that are vital for a SEC team to have a successful season. First and foremost is a good quarterback and second is team speed on defense. Georgia has neither one.

Theoretically, yes, but realistically speaking I would say the odds are about 5%...Maybe slightly higher since Florida lost last Saturday...We (i am a Dawg fan) would HAVE to win all our remaining SEC games and everything would have to fall just right. The offense has been totally pathetic so unless Matthew Stafford suddenly lives up to all the hype we'll do good to win 8 games...Florida and Auburn will be VERY tall tasks...If you can't beat Vanderbilt, you don't deserve to win the SEC...Of course, if it happens, I'll take it.

Doubtful. They have two losses to SEC East teams and they still have the Gators on their schedule. Even if they were to somehow make it to the SEC Championship game they'd most likely lose the rematch to Tennessee or lose to Arkansas, LSU or Auburn. Not UGA's year.

Does it really matter, after the Mountaineers punished them last year they should have a mandatory 5 year drop to I-AA.

Not a chance in Hell. They need to beat Florida, and have Florida lose twice, plus have Tennessee lose tice. Not going to happen!
