Anyway, you can't go wrong with a knee length dress, any color but white. It will work for most any situation, and you can dress it up or down depending on the formality. A nice pair of dress shoes, no higher than 3" heels. Natural makeup, simple and classic hairstyle.
Remember, she is the bride and should be the center of attention. So let her have her day, and don't try to over do your own look.

Something for her that would make her still the center of attention. Depending on the time/ place of the wedding, a party dress is never wrong! You have very good dressmakers here who can do a dress for you in a week, see the issue of Brides.
She can opt to wear her white dress again, but then adjusted to our temperatures! Like with miniskirt instead of the train.
Why did she got married in the UK? Nothing beats South Africa!
