he is a good player, but you can't forget about Melky Cabrera who replaced Matsui when Matsui was injured. In a game, I would rather have Matsui at the plate and Melky in left.

Guy above me...how do you know what kind of teammate he is???

Anyways...consistent bat who has power and can hit for avg. and is pretty clutch. Drives ball to all fields and hustles which is rare these days. Liability in LF, not a very good fielder at all...if he changed positions it would help the team a lil, change to 1st of DH...

very good hitter, solid teammate, played in many consecutive games prior to wrist injury. only annoying thing he does is he looks at his bat while in the batters box - hey - Hideki - it's still there!
