First of all - they will expect you to be a little nervous, so don't worry about that too much.
What you should be concentrating on is making sure you are clear and up-to-date on all aspects of the role you are being interviewed for. Make sure your facts are correct, and that you are brushed up on your personal skills and understanding of the role.
Being completely prepared is the best way to ease your nerves.
When thinking about the interview think about the whole day. Have everything organized: Including what you will wear, what perfume you will put on, how you will do your hair... everything. If you are organized and you are feeling good about the way you look, it helps with your confidence. You will feel ready to conquor the world!
But most importantly, as stated above, is the fact that you are prepared in your mind. Knowing what's important - not trying to guess at what they want, but knowing that your skills are very good and that you are worth their money.
If indeed you are very good at what you do - walk into the interview with the knowledge that you are better for that job than anyone else they will be interviewing. Be completely honest with them if they ask why you are the best candidate for the job - don't play 'humble', tell them exactly why you are the best.
In an interview they want you to inform them of your skills because they really want to know everything about you. If you have not previously supplied letters of referral, you could bring some with you and hand it to them when the interview begins, or time it with an answer.
You'll be great - just take the day to pamper yourself before the interview, be completely prepared and organized.

The best thing you can do is to be prepared. Study the company, know its history, know the business model and what the role is. The less the risk you will get caught by an easy question the less the reason to be nervous.
Also, make sure the interviewers understand straight away that you are prepared and professional, it will change the course of the interview from the very beginning, put a positive spin on it.
Be on time, of course, but do not go too far. Arriving at the front desk 10 minutes before the meeting is about right.
Print out your CV on nice paper. Put a few copies in nice plastic folders. Giving each person in the room a copy before the interview sends positive signals.
Take notes. I never hire anyone that doesn't take notes throughout the interview. I also never hire anyone who doesn't come prepared with intelligent questions.
Be cautious though, make sure your conversation is at the right level. If you are inteviewing for a clerk position, noone will be impressed if you want to discuss the current share price or company ten year strategy.
Also, check back with the interviewer once in a while and make sure you answered the question. If you don't understand the question, just say ask them to clarify, it is perfectly alright.

Bach's rescue remedy is pretty good for calming the nerves. You could also try a bit of aromatherapy, put some lavender or ylang ylang essential oil on a hanky or your sleeve and the smell should relax you.
Being well prepared will also help, learn all you can about the company, what they do, their history. Think about the type of candidate they want and how you're experience fits in with that. I would suggest you look up some websites with interview questions and make sure you can deal with anything they throw at you. If you're confident you can answer any question you'll be more relaxed about the interview.
Another good tip is to wear clothes that you feel confident in. If you're happy about your appearance you'll naturally feel less self conscious and more positive.
Final piece of advice is be nice to everyone as even if they're not the interviewer you don't know who they might be and what influence they could have.

Simply relax, do some research on the company you are going to interview for so you know the back ground. Dress appropriately and you will feel comfortable. And just tell yourself you are the best person for the job, and this should do it. have some confidence in yourself. Make sure to sit up straight, make eye contact, shake the persons hand both before and after the interview and thank them at the end. Send a follow up, thank you letter for interviewing you. Hi, remember that they are human beings, and that they want to find the right person for the job, whatever it is. They are therefore looking for those things in you. But if they find 10 people who all have the skills or abilities that they need, then the one they will offer the job to is the one who made them feel comfortable. There are easy things that people forget to do because they are nervous. Smile! Shake hands with the person or people interviewing you. When they are asking a question, focus your attention on them, get eye contact if you can, listen intently, and think about what you are going to say before you say it. This will give them the impression that you are dealing with being nervous, and that you are interested and confident.

Understand that the person on the opposite side of the desk is not your enemy. They are hoping that you are the candidate that they are looking for. Otherwise, they have to sit through more interviews. There is always that hope in every interview or audition, "I hope this is the one." They aren't out to get you, or deny you a job. They are trying to fill the position. And remember, you are looking them over too. Just because they want to hire you, doesn't necessarily mean that you want to work there. Be prepared with your own questions for them. Just don't start with "Whens my break?" I actually had a candidate start with that question once. She didn't get the job as you can imagine.

To let them see how good you are... Well, it depends on what area you're going into, opf course, but it would be good to let them know that you have researched the company, share price, latest aqusitions, parent company, know the competition, etc.
everyone has nerves at an interview. any interviewer knows that, but you could mention that you feel a bit nervous because you are keen to get the job. Basically be nice to everyone. I know someone who decided against a prospective employee based on the fact that he bumped into the post boy, and didnt stop to help him pick up the envelopes he had dropped.

Remember it's not just them interviewing you to see if you are good enough for the job!! You should also be interviewing them to see if they are good enough for you. Don't go in thinking "oh god I really need this job", go in thinking "do I really want to work here?" Try to think that it's an equal interview not just one sided!!

u didn't tell us what kind of job is it! anyway, u must have a good base of what is the job discription and speciality linked to it. no valium, no injection... just have good sleep, eat well, enjoy urself, sing in shower and know da place of intreview in advance.
when u reach, show interest in job and place. great ppl with respect and come up with urexpressive lines.
again depends on the job type, ur behaviour is restricted by it. it's not acting, it's the way adult manage their behaviours to have peaceful life.
