Does any one believe in superstition? A few months ago I broke a mirror....since then I was in a car accident, fell down my stairs, broke a tooth, and went through a really bad relationship. Is this the beginning of 7 years of bad luck or am I just paranoid?

It's all about belief. If you believe you are going to have 7 years of bad luck then you probably will.

I'm a strong believer in the "placebo effect".
Once, when I was a kid, I broke a mirror. Then cleaning it I cut myself. Later, I tripped on the steps and bust my shin. Then, I locked myself out of the house.
I was intensely paranoid - that is, until my grandmother gave me an "Anti-bad luck pill" aka a Tic Tac (or something like that). Boom! Instantly the bad luck was gone, and I was back to being plain-old clumsy.

Sounds like bad luck to me. But i never thought that was real! Maybe we all have that bad luck but because you remember breaking the mirror and associates it with the bad luck thats why you make that connection. You should devote some time to prayer. And ask god to break the bond that is causing it

No, you aren't just being paranoid.....all those people are wrong! Superstition does have power over people in their lives; but only if you truly believe....obviously you do! Belief makes it real to you. Just like belief in the Bible makes it real for Christians; and not real to non-believers! The same with Voodoo; only belief makes it real !! You need to cleanse your spirit and your house....with a spell.....are you into Wicca??

That's just an old wives's tale. Most likely to scare children into leaving mirrors alone.
Things come in three's.
You have had three tragedies, you should be good for a while.
Good Luck.
