For an Indian women it is rather tough life as it is, but with a psycho husband it must be doubly bad, best thing is to tell your parents, if they live in same village, go to their house and look for a job, start a new life.
Saying all that, we dont know how many off springs you have, most Indian women have lots, so becareful not to leave them behind also, other wise they will suffer at the hands of your husband.
If your parents dont want you, and dont have any off springs, just pack your bags when he is not there and leave, leave a short note for him so he does not look for you, go to another village and live peacefully.

You say you are indian, so it is really hard. Indian could mean muslim, or hindu, or tamil, and that will play a major role.. Either way - if you can get away to a "safe" place, do so, regardless - they are confidential and in the meantime you can get a restraining order if by Psycho you mean what I think you mean by it!
