Making a difference: the nursing, midwifery and health visiting contribution - the midwifery action plan
The Midwifery Action Plan looks in more depth at the proposals specific to midwives in “Making a Difference - strengthening the nursing, midwifery and health visiting contribution” and the NHS Plan. It has been produced by the Department of Health working in partnership with a group of senior midwives representing professional organisations and midwives who have represented both clinical practice and education.
