i have a friend who likes me to drink and smoke pot and even took me home drunk after i told her i just lost a friend that way and i dont want to drink smoke or get in a car with a drunk driver she even got me fired. but shes nice to me and saids shes my friend should i believe her?

My dad used to be in this situation..
He basicly said anyone with that type of lifestile are begging for freinds so anyone who will do stuff with them are freinds to them.
She if your freind if you can stop doing drugs and drinkin and she still like you for who you are.. not what you do.
Anyways. Drugs and Drinking will lead you down to the wrong path in life. You can do plenty of other things and have just as much fun..
Like my dad said to me.. Can't find a virgin in a whore house Crude way of saying it.. but it is true about meny cases

True friends are accepting, not blackmailing or despotic.
The true friendship is based on common interests an nothing else.It is spontaneous and freewill without obligations.It is your right to protect yourself from damage no matter how nice is the talk.Thoughts, feelings and deeds must be compatible (whether bad or good) otherwise something is wrong (i.e.lie).Your friend needs company and attention but doesn't show the same to you.Good luck

She is not a true friend if she puts that much pressure on you to do things that you know are wrong for you. I sort of have the same problem..almost all of my friends smoke pot or do drugs. I, however, dont. Its not that i dont want to...b/c sometimes i really want to let loose and "have a good time", but i was raised not to do those things, not that i haven't tried them, and i feel good about myself when i DONT do those things. be her friend. dont let her drive drunk. be firm when you say no. no matter how many times the joint or bottle is passed to you, keep passing. If she continues not to understand, then maybe she really shouldn't be your friend.

This is not a friend. A friend helps you when your down and listens to you when you need someone to talk to. a friend is there through your Good and you Bad. You need to find a true friend. If she got you fired. Wow you don't need a friend like that. God bless
