I think the people in charge of adoptions in whatever country she was in should be ashamed of themselves. They basically sold that child for a wad of money. What if I "hung" myself on a cross for money and fame? They would haul me off and take my children away!
This headline says it all:

I feel sorry for the kid. Money isn't everything.

Hey dude, I don't have a prob controlling my Tourette's when her name is mentioned LOL.
Maybe she really wants to help the child, and is not seeking publicity. What's wrong with that? The little boy wouldn't have much in his homeland, but with Madonna as mommy he'll be raised with the best that money can buy!

i think the whole celebrity adopting african children is just fr publicity gain, sure some may be sincere but now since madonna adopted a child britney spears wants to. is it just me or does it seem like britney already is unable to take care of her two sons adequetly and as a result of adopting an african child do you really think she will handle it?

From what I've heard Madonna is a bit of a workaholic. I think the boy will have a strict mother, but that won't hurt him. She will be a very good mother too. I think he will have a good education and basically the world is his oyster.

i dont think i will enjoy the "package " that comes with it, all the attention and be followed round all the time
its not madonna , its being adopted by anyone famous that i wouldnt like them adopt me
