I asked this question 5 months ago! Who would have thought 5 months ago that the Tigers would be going to be in the World Series?

G'day ezkiss,

Thanks for your question.

Few people would have tipped in April that the Tigers and Cardinals would be the last teams left standing.

Further, I think that the Tigers would be my favourites to win for the following reasons:

a) they have been resting as a result of the early finish to the ALCS which is important for pitchers while the Cardinals and Mets were slugging it out;

b) they have homefield advantage and Comerica Park is a tough park to play it especially for hitters - the Cardinals haven't had a good away record this season losing more games than they have won.

Mind you the Cardinals have shown a lot of spirit so far during the playoffs.

May the best team win.

Regards

I had figured at the end of April, right before they played 10 tough games in a row against the Yankees, Red Sox, and White Sox. The ended up losing 7 out of those 10, so at the time I thought they were falling apart, but they came back at the end of June and swept 6 straight against the Astros and Cardinals. I'm not making any more predictions of the Tigers demise, I guess they really are for real.

Tiger's are not going to fall apart. They have the drive, determination, desire, the best pitching staff, the best manager, and the best team all around.

If the cards play like they did against the mets then it is going to be a fast series and the Tiger's are going to win it in 4.

You can bet I will be watching and rooting for my Tigers

The Tigers will fall apart when you stop giving away your kisses.

As soon as Albert Pujols hits a 3-run shot to left in the 1st inning of game 1. It will be all downhill after that for the Tigers.

Since they have been playing so well, have had a long rest, I am predicting that they win the Series...I don't see them falling apart.

Since they have gone all year without falling apart, I don't see it coming anytime soon.

You are going to suffer through a long winter waiting for that to happen.

they seem like they're due...plus lots of rest and pulling off a huge upset over the Yanks. Plus I consider they're pitching to be much better
