We got a b/w blond cabinet Zenith tv, I was about 6 I think. I remember being fasinated by the pictures in that little box. We watched Sky King, Mickey Mouse Club w/ Annette Funicello, Rin Tin Tin, F-Troop, Tales of Wells Fargo, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans singing Happy Trails to you, until we meet again., Hopalong Cassiday, Black Beauty, Its Howdy Doody Time, oh so many of the good old shows. Outer Limits

Best memory would be Saturday mornings, waking my younger brother up so we could watch all our favorite cartoons. Our parents would still be sleeping and we'd rush to the kitchen to make some cereal, Honey Nut Cheerios; overflowing the milk and cereal. Rush to the television afterward, sitting really close to the TV so it wouldn't be too loud to wake our parents. Turn the TV on just in time for...Muppet Babies. The other show was Kids Incorporated....yeah, memories.

Hmm. I was in the living room watching Sesame Street, and was sitting excessively close to the television. I was completely engrossed. My uncle walked in, and he yelled at me to stop sitting so close because I'd ruin my eyes. I never forgot that, because now I purposely keep a safe distance away from the tv. Those early experiences really do mold the way you think!

I remember watching the Ed Sullivan show when I was very, very young. I don't remember too many of the acts, but I used to adore Senor Wences and Topo Gigio.

Romper Room is another early memory I have. I used to sit and wait patiently for her to see me in her magic mirror!

Some of my earliest memories of cartoons were Beanie and Cecil and Top Cat.

AS THE WORLD TURNS

BOTH OF MY GRANDMOTHERS WATCHED IT FAITHFULLY, AND I KNEW THAT AS SOON AS IT WAS OVER WITH THAT I MUST TAKE AN AFTERNOON NAP

AS A RESULT, I ALSO WATCH THE SHOW FAITHFULLY, EVEN TO THIS DAY. AND I REALLY TRY AS HARD AS I CAN NOW TO GET THAT NAP AFTERWARDS

Definitely black and white, but I can't remember what show. I remember seeing my reflection in the TV screen when it was off [I was a toddler]. That always impressed me.
