"nuclear" It can be used to create heat. nuclear reactors produce heat. this is used to boil water to steam which is just like in ant other boiler. That steam is used to run turbine generators for electricity. It also can be used to run submarines and ships by generating electricity or the propellers directly off of the steam turbines. But a reactor is just a source of heat to boil water. It is the power of the steam that makes everything else happen.

Nuclear energy is energy released from the atomic nucleus. It follows the conversion of its mass to energy consistent with Albert Einstein's formula E=mc² in which E = Energy, m = Mass, and c = The speed of light (a physical constant). However, the mass-energy equivalence does not explain how the reaction occurs, but rather nuclear forces do.

Nuclear energy is released by one of three nuclear reactions:
* Fusion, the fusing together of atomic nuclei.
* Fission, the breaking of the binding forces of an atom's nucleus.
- Decay, is a term used for the slower natural fission process of a nucleus breaking down into a more stable form.

Nuclear energy was first discovered accidentally by French physicist Henri Becquerel in 1896, when he found that photographic plates stored near uranium compounds behaved as though they had been exposed to light in a manner similar to X-Rays, which had been just recently discovered at the time. what do you think? As every energy it wants to expand and travels through the air particles but, it's speed is very high comparing to another energy as the gravitational one.

nuclear energy is to dangerous because if an accident happens & it will happen because they always do
all the land & the people that are close to the site are dead & you can never use the land for hundreds & hundreds of years & people who live many miles away suffer for donkey years with cancers & birth defects etc
so how can anyone say its good for the inviroment
there are better ways for getting energy
