Make sure that I got the keys to avoid any lock outs. I've been stupid enough before and it took me 5 hours and 61 pounds (60 pounds for visit of locksmith and one pound for key !!!!!) to get the lock opened !
it was a terrible experience as I had just come out to pick the post and my jacket, my mobile , my wallet and car keys were all in my home..& it was very cold and drizzling outside

Before I go to work I make sure I have my mp3 player, my phone, the keys, and some earplugs because I work at an airport. If I'm going anywhere else, I double check if I have the first two items plus my purse and my wallet.

I check all my pets, and make sure they are in the right rooms.
i.e: Cat can't be in with dog, terrapin can't be in with cat and doves must have patio door closed so that dog can't knock their cages over...
