right, vacumm it is.
And for those who seemed a bit freaked about the idea I was just thinking a quick rinse not a long soaking or the dishwasher, just something to remove the finger print oil and dust crud.

NO WATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Come on, it's an electronec device! Water would destroy it!
Instead you can remove all keys, then use a wet cloth to clean it. And then you can also use a vaccume! But NO RINSING UNDER THE WATER!!!

Water ?!? . you tired of your Keyboard? Water will kill your Keyboard, If you wanna clean it here is the thing. Turn the keyboard upside down and shake it a bit, mind you don't go into a state of frenzy and you will see all the dust coming out, afterwards just use a clean cloth and clean your Keyboard or you may use a brush or a small Vaccum cleaner :)

um as long as you make sure the thing is bone dry before you plug it in again water wouldn't do much to an unplugged keyboard but you should really just used canned air.

As long as its not connected to the computer its ok. (hey I have to say it)

If you get your keyboard wet of course you need to make sure it is absolutely bone dry before you plug it back in. So vaccum or compressed air are your best bet.

my best option is, if u have a real filthy keyboard. take a small screw driver and take out all your keys and wash it with water. as for the Board, u can vacuum and wipe with a microfiber clothe. after the key is being wash and dry, put it back piece by piece. Viola, u have a sparkliing clean keyboard

Neither, the best way to clean your keyboard is to use a blower, not a hairdryer(it causes static) a blower, they sell them at any computer shop.
