I would, firstly, re-instate the constitution and Bill of rights as the SUPREME laws of the land and withdraw all laws that undermine those wonderful documents.

That means no income tax, no federal reserve, restoring to congress the ability to issue currency, I would put America first and ALL Congress members and all members of the Senate must swear a new alliegience to the constitution and Bill of Rights. They cannot work for ANY other nation at the expence of American interests, and they cannot hold dual citizenship.

All elections will be carried out openly and publicly and ALL votes counted publicly and independently audited.

Paid lobbying will be outlawed. The government will work for and serve the people, NOT the corporations.

I would work tirelessly to remove the massive and burdensome red tape and reduce the size of Government. ALL the government should be responsible for is providing security and basic infrastucture and the most basic human needs. Health care, social housing, healthy chemical free diet, clean healthy chemical free water. and that is ALL. taxes would be lowered for everyone, so that people could spend there own real money as they wish.

no-bid, cost plus contracts to coporate cronies would be abolished.

The troops will be brought home and the idiotic, and unwinnable war on terror would be ended.

Borders would be secured, freight would be scanned, the nation would be kept secure. we would have a new military doctrine. you leave us alone, and we'll leave you alone. Touch us once and you are nuked!

We would become a peaceful prosperous nation, trading and benefiting the whole world, but we would still have a powerful sting.

Minimum wages, taxes, and of course that stupid little law that sayes gay's can't be in the military. I'm all about anyone taking my place in the war, I don't care who they are or what they belive. I'd change minimum wages so that our poorest can actually afford to feed their kids. Taxes because it seems like the only ones that actually have to pay taxes is the poorest of us because everyone else gets to write off what they have but most everyone else that is depraved gets paid in cash for their work so at the end of the year they get a bill instead of a check. And I would make it to where sports, acting, and singing shouldn't be a career that you get paid millions of dollars to do. Change the world or teaching should be getting that amount not dites that have to read words on a page or put a ball in a hoop. and nobody's voice is really that great that I'd pay them a million dollars to sing.

I would take the political correctness out of the way our troops fight against uncivilized aggressors. I believe our troops should not return home until Iraq has the means to ensure its own security. This could take a longer time than it needs. The past rules of engagement no longer apply to the current conflict. This, as everyone knows, is not a conventional war. Our enemy follows no rules. They are determined to see that no stable democracy take hold on any "holy" land. I say we start to fight fire with fire, and be just as ruthless as our enemies, or our men and women in uniform will be fighting this battle for another decade or more.

Assuming by "president," you mean POTUS:

1) Initiate comprehensive solution for Iraq:

(a) arrest & prosecute US war criminals [which would materially remediate the environment "on the ground"],

(b) withdraw occupying US insurgents and return that nation to self-government, while maintaining a credible regional rapid-response force to dissuade/repel organized military aggression.

2) Initiate comprehensive solution for Afghanistan:

a & b) same as under item 1)

c) Eliminate the production of poppies for illegal drug production (which is basically what the Taliban had accomplished before GW took over and gave control of the country to drug lords).

3a) Neither any torture, maltreatment, mistreatment or inhumane treatment nor any penalty of death in the USA, its territories, its protectorates or its trading partners. Eliminate the GOP revision of the definition of torture and restore that term to its proper (and common-sense) meaning.

3b) Restore habeas corpus rights and other legal rights eradicated or effectively eliminated under especially the GW Bush regime (but also certain other regimes).

4) Implement my Free And Clean Energy Initiative (sorry, but that's too complicated to describe in this forum) that both (a) makes the USA a net energy exporter and (b) produces and distributes internally all the required energy in the proper forms for domestic use.

5) Overhaul the tax code; implement a realistic plan for the outright elimination of US debt. Regrettably, detailing such a plan is herein impracticable.

6) Lobby the American People to restore the bankruptcy code and to repeal the machinations of tort reform.

7) Implement my American Wellness Engine: a comprehensive health and welfare overhaul addressing everything from unfairness and corruption in Medicaid/Medicare access and billing to physical fitness, diet and hygiene.

Like the FACE Initiative, it's discussion is beyond the scope of this forum; however, it does make health care universal while discouraging fraud, malingering and the frivolous use of medical resources through prompt investigation and appropriate civil and criminal penalties.

It also provides for humane care of all LTC patients, with meaningful benchmarks against which caretakers are judged, and it provides for hospice.

8a) Implement comprehensive disaster preparedness training and resourcing, so that localities are individually and concurrently able to handle any reasonably foreseeable combination of disaster events, and

8b) Maintain an all-weather, self-sufficient, federal emergency reserve force capable of deploying any needed assets to any disaster-stricken region anywhere in the USA within 24 hours.

9) Promote the responsible stewardship of natural resources to achieve economic and recreational interests. Use Imminent Domain to save lives and reduce property damage.

10) Since we can't get rid of the tobacco industry any other way, perhaps if we legalized marijuana at the same time we outlawed tobacco? I'd be willing to seriously consider such legislation; as stated, I can't think of any reason I wouldn't support it.

All the other drugs would stay as they are: just marijuana and tobacco would trade places.

11) Related to the American Wellness Engine, but worth separate mention, is the anti-communicable disease program. There would be 2 channels to this program: one for airborne contagions and the other for contact-transmitted diseases.

I'd like to lead the world in eliminating STDs altogether, and in eradicating threats from things like influenza, smallpox (which until GW Bush's regime wasn't anymore a threat), etc.

Order the Justice Dept. to stop enforcing all drug laws.... and grant pardons to all people in jail for drug use.

Then I'd get a BJ from a slightly over-weight intern.
