You cant do that! Unless, there is an encryption utility ON you drive it self! The only available option is to use a password protected zip file.

You need to encrypt the files before writing it to the drive.
I've always used GPG to encrypt my files, but thats because I'm a linux guy. GPG allows anyone to encrypt files for you, but only you can decrypt them because only you know the key. It's free and runs on almost every platform.
You can always zip the files into a encrypted ZIP file. Almost every zip utility allows you to do this.

Use a zip or make a Autorun file that can load a password program on the USB. This is what i use and i love it.

hi budy if u want to insert password in removeable disc then install folder lock and in that specifie the location and press on lock (this is for ur pc only)& if ur taking ur external media to others computer and don't want anyone to see it then just install the folder lock software in the external media itself and lock the file.......
