go into the control panel,,,,click on power options and have a look at you settings,,, you may need to change them.

well if you got on your computer to ask this question then you may be able to do a system restore.
Go to your start menu
then to programs , then go to accressories then down to system tools.
Now click on system restore.
you should get a window up click next
then you should see a small calendar on it , from here you can take your computer back to a happier time. so pick a date from when your computer was OK click on it to shade it
then click next your computer will do the rest.
then you should get a Anti virus as someone has already told you
AVG is free, Just type in yahoo search AVG free edit on and you will find it .

u need to put it in safe mode and check settings
probably find you have a virus my friend

sounds like you got a virus, you need to download AVG virus control its free and very good too

you have a virus that only a complete rebuild will repair, if you live anywhere near essex i will gladly rebuild your pc for free
