Try a Q-tip and bleach. When marking maps for vacation, if I make a mistake I use this method.

If the spot is a little larger than a line, use a cotton ball.

I have excellent success using this method.
I got it from the trip makers at AAA.

the ink has absorbed into the paper so their is no way to properly remove it other than trying to wet it and blot it with some paper towel, but the mark from it is more likely to stay

Hey! you can only cash the check once! Try bleaching it out with Javex...

by making the paper wet in water & ten dryin it!!!!!!
