well the officer/hallway monitor/whatever person probably just keyed on your foul language and didn't take it into correct context.
I read that you were just calling the person out. calling them out of the closet?
Perhaps this is indeed construable as taunting or harassment of some nature.
Perhaps homophobia is a sexuality all its own.
Perhaps Yahoo doesn't want to be involved in any way with someone that commits suicide over like issues.
I head the other night on CNN that women that have breast implants have a significantly higher representation amongst those who commit suicide than there are amongst the general living peoples.
This is really sad. All those pathetic souls gone to waste. I know it in my heart that some people never grow up. Never accept themselves, never find the peace of being in thier own skin. Some will face ugly untimely ends. Others may have personal issues with knowing what they are, and failing the internal challenges of their id. I think homophobes fall into this.
Sorry for going off on a tangent here, but perhaps badgering a homophobe isn't the healthiest pastimes of all possible things to do or say. Just ignore homophobes. Jabbing at them is too easy, pathetic and wastrel of your time. If I were Yahoo, I wouldnt want anyone poking at the mentally unstable/emotional cripples either. It happens to everyone. Heck, its happening to me now.

I don't think it's a case of homophobia but a case of someone not actually reading the content of the complaint and investigating it properly. Yahoo have a history of not really checking things before issuing these worthless warnings that mean absolutely nothing. Don't take it personally. Life's too short.

Take it with a grain of salt ... many of us have had conflict with a bigot. And to expect anything better from the mighty Yahoo Answers Team .... ain't gonna happen !
Just keep plugging away at answering questions and helping educate the ignorant. And by all means ... tap, tap, tap away at the report button !

I am relatively new to "Answers" so I haven't seen any of the comments and questions that have offended. But I am glad you have posted this , because I and hopefully others can be aware and look out for this stuff. I hope they don't remove this question-you have every right to make us aware. Good on you!!!

ok, for yahoo to give you a violations ppl have to complain about what you have said.
For example, i have posted this response, if enough ppl reported me, then Yahoo! would issue me with a violation notice and remove my answer?
Ppl at yahoo dont trawl through all the q's and answers and decide one is within violation!!!!!

If they're going to allow questions like that (and I believe they should - free speech and all) then they HAVE to allow your response. If this Yohan actually went and complained about your answer - he/she is truly PATHETIC.

Hm! I have to admit to being a little gobsmacked. You sound a little angry perhaps too angry? Just ignore it, it will go away, eventually.
