As the others have said, you can send a letter without the sender's address in the corner. In addition to the letter not being returned if the person has moved, you also run the risk of a person throwing the letter away because they either assume it is junk mail or they don't want to read mail from someone who either forgot to put their name on the letter or is trying to hide their identity, as it seems you might be doing here.
I always recommend the honest approach of putting your name on the envelope and a heartfelt apology on the letter inside. If you send it without the address, you may trick them into opening the envelope, but they probably won't be too happy that you felt you needed to trick them just to get them to open the letter.

of course you may do that .the risks are also a bit embarrassing if your address is not on top left....
if the person has moved? and the new leaser has not put his name on the mailbox, and the mailman leaves the letter ? you are taking the chance of a stranger reading it ?if returned # moved left no address #? it will go back the the PO for further forwarding ,
your letter will be send to the #big hospital #f or letters of unknown, undeliverable,or torn ,
it will have to be read to try to catch some name in it in order to try to follow your letter hum..........imagine huh?
if a person wish not to talk to you ? then just let it go?
i too would not read a letter that has no return address on it
in that case ?
heck what do you have to loose ? put a fake address on the return ? it does not mean once opened that it will be read ?
ps:mail it from another area ...........but if i were you ? which i am not ? i would put my address on it ! na !!!!
wink .)))

Yes. But there wont be a
Return to sender, address unknown.
No such number, no such zone.
I gave a letter to the postman,
He put it his sack.
Bright in early next morning,
He brought my letter back.
She wrote upon it:
Return to sender, address unknown.
No such number, no such zone.
We had a quarrel, a lovers spat
I write Im sorry but my letter keeps coming back.
So then I dropped it in the mailbox
And sent it special d.
Bright in early next morning
It came right back to me.
She wrote upon it:
Return to sender, address unknown.
No such person, no such so.
This time Im gonna take it myself
And put it right in her hand.
And if it comes back the very next day
Then Ill understand - the writing on it
Return to sender, address unknown.
No such number, no such zone.

Course you can. The return address is only mandatory for registered or other special post which may have to be returned in the event of non-delivery.

Yes you can. If your letter is undeliverable, you will not get your letter returned to you. I hope this will help you with your decision.
