Not just no but hell no. Our system is broken and we must repair it and we must do it soon while we still have a few of our checks and balances left. we must down size the federal gov and the state also. and fire them all. We must rebuild what the parties in control have stolen and thrown away in the name of national security.

My legislator, a moderate Republican, brings back some cheap bacon. I agree with some of his views, but he votes with the party over 95% of the time. This is not in the national interest, so I will vote for his qualified Democrat opponent.

Absolutely! Florida: Ginny Waite-Brown, Bilirakis, Gov. Bush, Charlie Crist have kept taxes down, Votes in favor of Veteran issues, is always available for problem solving.

I'm very pleased with most of my Republican representatives but the Dem's have been a disappointment. They don't even show up for votes, I cannot reach them by phone or mail, they seem to forget who they are working for.

Yes. My representitive is a moderate Democrat and based on his voting record I could have hardly done a better job myself. He supports free trade, supports civil liberties, and was opposed to the Iraq war but still votes to fund it because he realizes there is no alternative. Good guy. His name is Dave Obey....

no they only bring up the issues at voting time, then they still only cover one or two items and never really get to the real issues of everyday life and our real problems.

i tried to E-mail a couple of reps in Va. and they sent back a lying bot saying they would respond but never did ....deaf ears don't have constituents in my world

politicians have only two goals in life: to get elected and to stay elected. helping their constituents is a pleasant by-product if they do help at all.
