Um... well fashion always goes back in time so 'old school' is still exspensive, only it's modernized, and redesigned.
If you're into fashion, everything is 'high end' because designers are inspired by old styles, or they create unique items.
Regarding furniture, you can find beautiful 'old' pieces, aka Antiques, but they're not cheap, rather they're very expensive too... which i guess you would call 'high end' too wouldn't you?

Old school was when we had more freedom to be as we wanted and not be jailed on account of it, when rock ruled and women were delicious, and drunks against mad mothers- damm wasn't even a thought yet.

old school. There are a ton of old video games that totally rock compared to some of the newer crap. Like StarCraft is still one of my favorite games.

Old school.
They're classic and usually much more elegant and useful.
