I don't think the wife even likes sex, she just likes how it makes her husband putty. Anyhows, how do we stop them?

This is an egregiously unfair and sexist attitude. Are you speaking speaking strictly about YOUR wife? Well, then, stop falling for it. You are admitting that you are weak and lack the ability to control yourself, your libido, your actions. If you are speaking GENERALLY (and I feel that you are) you are so WRONG!! Women DO enjoy sex, and to think that we use sex to manipulate men (to what ends, to gain what?) is twisted. Perhaps you have "issues" with women, (mommy issues, maybe?) and this taints your view of us. Most women would never do what you accuse us of, and those that do are messed up, and not the norm.
BTW, the only guy I ever knew who complained that his wife used sex to manipulate, get things from him claimed that the only reason he married HER was to have a constant "lay" (as he put it). If it is true that she did this (and knowing her, it probably is, SHE was a complete skank) then these two richly deserved the mutual hell they put one another through. You reap what you sow. He wanted to use her, and so she used him in turn, it's a two-way street. Maybe you are like him, and wanted to use your wife for sex, and she turned the tables. That you would even be with a woman like this speaks volumes about your own character. Don't think that you know all of us because of your experiences with a few (if even real), don't think that you can paint us as having all the power when the REAL evidence shows that women are raped, brutalized, battered, manipulated, and used EVERY day by men who covet power, and seek to have it by dominating/humiliating women.THAT is real, and happens a lot more often (every 13 minutes a women is raped) than any of the anecdotal evidence you can come up with. Not all men are like this, and not all women are as you would portray us.

Take the problem into your own hand, literally. She should have to deal with you as an equal partner, not a blackmailer. 'I won't let you unless you do this..' is not how a marriage should be.
