a question for intelligent people?

what would you do if a group of forigners attack your country,take it over,destroy your house,rape you,kill your parents,abuse your children,insult your beliefs and call you a terrorist for protecting yourself in your own homeland as well?will you sit on your hands and do nothing?and watch them stealling your oil and gold? If you try to get rid of them and you blow one of them up does it mean you're a terrorist or your religion is the religion of war and is full of violence?If so why they were not any before they attack you?what else would you do if you were in such a terrible situation?
I THINK PEOPLE NEED TO REDIFINE TERRORISM AND VIOLENCE.

I think you have made a very good point. Most people haven't stopped to think about what they would do if there was a foreign power here doing just exactly what we are doing in Iraq. Most Americans don't know that nearly as many people have died in Iraq due to this war as died in the American Civil War. The U.S. government has said that it doesn't count civilian casualties. If this were happening here, and your family members and friends were dying not only from the direct violence of war, but the deprivations that come from a collapsed infrastructure- lack of basic utilities, medical care, basic medicines...you bet you would be taking some sort of action. I don't believe terrorism is ever an option, but self defense is.

I agree that what you talking about is exactly the case of arab incursions into Israel.

And i also agree the American presence in Iraq is hypocritical, to say the least. Really, to preach democracy is one thing but to coerce it through military action is something completely different. Not only is America doing to many countries already, it's invaded another country to prescribe a superficial, alien and fantastic idea of what America (or the Bush administration) things is swell.

To add insult to injury, you'll find that the American concept of terrorism abroad and relating to specific groups (Arabs, and even other foreign races) is ambiguous, prejudicial, indecent and unamerican. The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons" (Answers.com, 2006), YET the Terrorism Act 2000 onwards to the Terrorism Act 2006 prescribes that suspected terrorist activity ought to be met with suspicion, heresy and cultural immodesty (ie., the inability to judge other cultures). what's the world comming to?

Yes, all these things are being done in India, by the support from the neighbouring country.

You are right, and then we shouldn't talk only about muslims we should include all hypocrits. You are being very negative and have no inkling of the facts involved or the historic issues behind many of these things, but didn't it happen before?...Like World War II, how about Uganda, how about the great Indian massacre by the British, or the Japanese invasion of Manchuria, or the Slaughter of the Karen people of Myanmar or how about the genocide in Cambodia. In your narrow perspective, you choose to criticize the US, but we are just one part in problems. There are 23 current conflicts going on and most you are not even aware of, because some talking head on the TV forgot to mention them to you. Do you have a grasp on the problems in Sri Lanka? Are you aware of the Taliban and the Algerians? At least learn something before you begin to type.

human is living with animal basic instinct although today is 21st century. you either go out and hunt for victim when you are strong or wait for being hunt when you are weak. this happened on earth even the history have not written, especially barbarian countries. can we declare our generation is modern age?

if you learn about history since Mesopotamia, you will agree with me without doubt. every race and religion followers in the world go though the same circle. only the winner of war or battle will decide the black or white. the history is written by human.

although i know what is happening today, i am still fighting for the peace day will come when every human from different race, color, gender, sexual orientation, creed, religion, national, ethnic or social origin put down their differences and call each other brother and work together.

i don't like this kind of discussion but i would like to have my say on this. let me ask you a question then. if people from your country invade mine and do terrible things on my home soil, would it be justifiable if my country sends troops to kill ALL your people? my stand is that there will always be some black sheeps anywhere in the world. but innocent people become victims for the crimes they did not commit. the least we can do is to avoid stirring up people emotions by sensitive remarks or discussions. no offense intended.
