A perfectionist is someone that gets it right , wants to get it right ALL the time. A control freak is someone that wants and trys to make things the right way. The difference is a perfectionist gets it right all the time. A control freak doesnt, simply because Control is an illusion Absolutely noone knows what is going to happen next. Not on the road, in work and definitily not in life.

A perfectionist needs to have everything in their life perfect. A control freak is someone who needs to dominate other people into doing things their way rather than allowing personal freedom. Some perfectionists are happy trying to reach what they class as perfection just on a personal basis, and are unaffected by the methods of others, but the two conditions can go hand in hand in some cases.Hey, I've just had a thought-if a perfectionist answers your question, you may get a perfect answer!! If a control freak answers you, he or she may ask you to put your question another way!!

These are 2 similar people...but for me perfectionist can lead the group well.....while control freaks they just ruin things....

Perfectionist want to control everything including themselves, Control freaks control everyone else, but not themselves.

a perfectionist wants everything in their world to be perfect. a control freak wants their own world and yours to be perfect ( but only to their own definition of perfection)
