Fibroid is a benign tumor mass that can arise from vertually any organ of our body, but most offen it is found in uterus. As such this tumer is harmless on its own but may interfere with fuction of organ or other surrounding organ because of its pressure effect. But most of time it is symptomless does not need any treatment. Those fibroids which causes symptoms are removed surgically. Rarely it may turn malignant.
