The reason I ask is that growing up, the most fun I ever had was on a baseball field. Little league was so much fun. I know that soccor is huge out there, but would baseball give some more kids a chance to play in a team sport? The MLB has baseball schools in Latin America, whould that be a good thing to have in Europe?

I'm an American living in Europe temporarily and I can tell you there are Euro's who play baseball. There are 3 or 4 teams in the town where I live, and they have a year round season. It's just like in America. Some sports are Bigger than others

2 a certain extent i do agree wiv jenny that we have our own games here. Howeva with increasin obseity rates it doesnt hurt 2 add some more. The big problem 4 baseball is due 2 the time difference games r televised here @ 1 or 2 in the mornin so kids never get 2 c it neway. I think if the Mbl want 2 get kids here interestd they'd nd 2 do some promo whether thro kids programmes or schools but when kids r up 2 enjoy it!

The british are interested in football and cricket. The place that really amazes me more is Jamaica. In the caribbean, look at all the players from their neighbors-Dominican, Cuba etc. But guess what? They drive on the right side there too being a british colony. They play soccer and cricket (oh yeah, and bobsledding LOL) but still you'd think just on locality you'd see a few Rasta ball players. Just goes to show you that it will never change.

We already have our own sports,way too complex for simple American heads(cricket anyone?),and anyway,we invented rounders
