In my opinion, a man is lesser of a man the day he stops respecting women. Chauvinists, wife-abusers and men who look at women as nothing but sexual objects aren't real men. And to answer your question, a man who asks for directions is more manly than ever. And that's because he's willing to admit he doesn't know everything and that he needs help sometimes too. That's what I call a man. Someone who can drop his pride and ego just for a little while.

NO!! If you actually do ask for directions it shows you're above that stupid thinking and can get on with the fact that men aren't as perfect as women j/k ;-) I think it makes you more of a man to subside that and actually do it. I mean what's better, having your girlfriend scream at you an idiot b/c you're lost and have been lost for hours, or you girlfriend happy with you wherever you are b/c you got her there so fast....?

No. The man will ask for directions sooner, if the woman doesn't speak up.

A man who asks directions will reach his destination sooner. Otherwise, he's just another one of the lost.

reminds me of my husband, he thinks he knows every place on earch.he often gets lost, doesnt want to admit it, he will never ask for directions, even in a foreign place, he likes to use his gps and map books, or get directions online from the internet.
if you ask me, there is nothing wrong in asking for directions, and no i dont think guys are less of a man if they ask for directions

it be so much easier with less egotistical males out there... just ask for directions. it will save headaches and get to where you want usually quicker! I think its more attractive when a guy asks for directions! Hes not afraid what people think of this supposedly guys dont ask for directions.

Of course not. Sometimes a man has to put aside his pride and be willing to admit he is lost. Otherwise he would waste even more time by searching for a place he simply doesn't know how to get to.
