STEP 1: Move your king's pawn forward 1 or 2 spaces (it does not matter which). STEP 2: Move your king's bishop up three squares diagonally. STEP 3: Move your queen diagonally two squares. STEP 4: Move your queen up vertically and take the pawn in front of you opponent's bishop.
This only works if your opponent is a true novice.
Your opponent can block this checkmate by moving their pawn forward or moving their knight in front of your queen's path, which will result in a loss of your queen if you attempt this in either case.

Pawn to K4 Bishop to Kn5 Queen to B3 Queen takes pawn on opposing B2 this is known as fool's mate but only a fool would let it happen and only a fool tries it.

pawn out, then the Queen out, then the white rook out, then move the Queen towards checkmate.
But...only beginners will allow you to do it.
